In conjunction with our community "Millis Reads!" event, all CFB students and their families are invited to participate in our CFB Family Grit Project.

While studying Plymouth Colony, grade three students learn that the Wampanoag tribe helped Pilgrim settlers become better farmers by advising that when the leaves of the Oak tree were as big as a mouse's ear, it was time to plant corn.
Matthew Gavigan, a third-grade student at Clyde Brown Elementary filmed and wrote this video tour of Clyde Brown. THe video is linked on the right under the CFB Link. Matt's family bid on this activity at the recent Home & School auction. Congratulations Matt - you did a terrific job!
Help your student(s) stay sharp in Math and Reading this summer!
Please encourage them to participate in the Millis Public Library Summer Reading Program. Summer is a great time to read for enjoyment; as students complete a book they may add it to their Summer Reading Log. A fun celebration awaits those who participate!
Our summer math calendars are a fun, easy way to keep students thinking mathematically. Post them on your refrigerator and see how many they can check off!
