Dear Parents and Guardians of Millis athletes,
Online registration for spring sports for athletes from grades 7-12 is open!
DEADLINE: MONDAY MARCH 10TH. Online registration, and submission of physical exam forms, concussion education certificates, and user fees must be completed to be eligible to participate.
SPRING SPORTS BEGIN MONDAY MARCH 17th.

Congratulations to Seniors Caroline Spangenberg and Rebekah Kohls for recognition they received recently. Caroline was recognized by the Daughters of the American Revolution with its Good Citizenship Award this past Sunday. Rebekah was Millis High School's representative at the annual Classmates Today, Neighbors Tomorrow breakfast, sponsored by the Jewish War Veterans, recognizing area students for leadership and involvement in community service. Millis Middle/High School has been named a "Showcase School" by Polar Fitness (a leader in fitness and heart rate monitors). This is an outstanding honor for our school as we are the only high school in Massachusetts to be so designated. We have new heart rate monitor equipment that enables students to actually see where their heart rate is and look at the data over time.
As a result of yesterday's snow cancelation, below is the revised schedule for exams.
Friday (1/24) Periods 5 and 6
Monday (1/27) Period 7 and Make-up
2nd Semester begins Tuesday (C-Day) 1/28/14
In the event of a late start or school cancelation due to snow, the following procedures will be followed:
If there is a delayed opening, the first exam scheduled for the day will be held from 10:00-12:00; lunch will be from 12:00-12:20; and the second exam will be from 12:20-2:20.
The deadline to order a 2014 Millis High School Yearbook for $85 is quickly approaching! Order by January 17th for this price, afterwards the book will be on sale for $95!

This is a gentle reminder from your friends in the cafeteria. If your student currently has an outstanding balance of more than $15 on their Millis High School lunch account, they will not be allowed to charge or purchase any a la carte Items (such as bags of chips, ice cream, PowerAde, Vitamin Water, etc.). Students owing more than $15 will also not be allowed to purchase or charge PREMIUM LUNCHES. No student will go hungry.
