Grade 8 Students Receive iPads

Dear Millis Middle School Grade 8 Student and your Parents/Guardians,

On Thursday, September 15th all grade 8 students were assigned an iPad by the school district to be used during the school year. iPads will not be coming home with students until sometime after October 15th. In the meantime, teachers will work with students in school on how to use the iPad to support their learning and the grade 8 coursework.

In preparation of the students taking the iPads home, we ask all grade 8 parents and guardians to read the 2011 Policy Guide and Frequently Asked Questions and then take a short ONLINE SURVEY so that we can collect information about your beliefs, questions, concerns and your home networking environment as it relates to this pilot. We encourage you to talk with your student about both documents. We will also cover the two documents with students on September 15th.
